Introduction
Would you like to help build airplanes and helicopters that are used around the world? As a Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be involved in the assembly of high-quality aircraft components for programs such as the Airbus A350, Gulfstream, and NH90. You’ll be based at GKN Fokker in Papendrecht, where you’ll work in a modern, high-tech production environment that prioritizes precision, quality, and teamwork.
Function
- Preparing and inspecting parts for structural assembly
- Assembly of complex metal aircraft structures in accordance with aviation standards
- Cleaning and inspecting tools and materials before and after use
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Recording and Documenting Parts and Process Information
- Conducting visual inspections and measurements to ensure the highest quality
- Working in accordance with safety, quality, and production regulations
- Actively contribute to improvement initiatives within the team
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized workplace

Who are you
- Vocational education (MBO) level of work and thinking, preferably in a technical field
- Experience in assembly, sheet metal work, metalworking, or a similar technical role
- Experience in the aviation industry is a strong asset
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Meticulous, quality-oriented, and a true team player
