Introduction
Do you enjoy working with metal and find it rewarding to build a complete structure from a technical drawing? As a Fabrication Fitter, you’ll work on various metal structures in a technical production environment. You’ll receive your own work orders and ensure that the work is carried out accurately and according to schedule. Depending on your experience, you may work independently or receive guidance to further develop your skills in the field.
Function
- Assembly and Fabrication of Metal Structures
- Working from technical drawings and work orders
- Performing various metalworking operations
- Checking one's own work for accuracy and quality
- Independently determining the appropriate approach and sequence of tasks
- Identify problems and consult with the shop foreman as needed

Who are you
- Vocational education (MBO) level of work and thinking in the fields of construction, metalwork, or a comparable field
- Experience as a Structural Fitter or in metalworking
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to work with precision and an eye for quality
- Be able to work independently, but also function well as part of a team
