Introduction
For our client GKN Aerospace in Papendrecht we are looking for a certified sprayer. In this position you will work on applying high quality coatings to aircraft components and contribute to the maintenance and quality of critical aerospace components. You will work with modern equipment and materials within a professional and structured work environment.
Function
- Preparation of parts, such as sanding, cleaning, degreasing and masking.
- Applying sealant in seams and spraying primer coats.
- Coating of parts with a hand spray gun according to applicable regulations.
- Mixing and preparation of lacquer and paint materials.
- Perform quality checks, including layer thickness measurements and visual inspections.
- Perform first line maintenance on spraying equipment and ensure a neat and safe work area.
- Record administratively the work performed.
- Actively contribute to improvements in work processes and safety.

Who are you
- A completed secondary vocational education or demonstrable comparable work and thinking level.
- Relevant qualifications and experience as an (industrial) sprayer.
- Familiar with hand spraying equipment, paint mixing equipment and various coatings.
- Experience working according to established procedures, regulations and quality systems.
- Basic knowledge of technical English.
- Proficient with computers, including MS Office.
- Accurate and patient, with a keen eye for detail.
- Physically in good shape: you regularly work standing, moving and above shoulder height.
