Introduction
Are you a craftsman with a passion for metalworking? Our client is looking for an experienced ironworker to join the team. In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, from welding to machining metal structures. Function
- Reading drawings and welding instructions, checking pretreatment for shape, dimensions and cleanliness, and making construction joints
- In this position, you will be responsible for prepping and cutting sheets and profiles to size
- You make material fit by burning and grinding, and assemble workpieces with tack welding
- In addition, you will make provisions to prevent distortion during welding and ensure accurate alignment and fit of engine components and structures, both onboard and offsite

Who are you
- A completed mbo education in the direction of Metalworking, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical study
- Mastery of welding techniques and other joining methods.
- A valid VCA certificate
- Certificate for safely moving loads (or willing to obtain one)
