Introduction
For our client GKN Aerospace, we are looking for an MRO Mechanic (Inspector). In this position you will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, modifying and inspecting aircraft parts. You will perform intermediate and final inspections, supervise customer product removals and ensure that all work is correctly recorded according to applicable quality standards.
Function
As an MRO Mechanic (Inspector) you are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, modifying and inspecting aircraft parts. Your duties include:
- Conducting interim and final inspections.
- Supervising product withdrawals by customers.
- Prepare and handle deviation reports within established guidelines.
- Carefully recording data in logs and quality reports.
- Actively thinking and contributing to process improvements.

Who are you
- You have a completed aerospace engineering degree.
- Experience with inspection work on landing gear or similar aircraft components you bring.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as EASA Part 145, AS9110 and AS9100 is a definite plus.
- You communicate excellently and work very accurately.
- Technical English is well mastered and you can handle the basics of Office programs.
